Designed mockups in Figma and developed prototypes in Webflow, ensuring accessibility and responsive layouts for diverse user groups.
Delivered a backend CMS system using Zapier and Integromat (Make) enabling medical application approval and automating emails to both customers and the veterinary team.
EARLY STAGES
PEN-TO-PAPER (WIREFRAMING)
I started by sketching wireframes on pen and paper to quickly outline the structure of the site. These wireframes helped guide early discussions about the flow of the application process.
MEDIUM-FIDELITY MOCKUPS
Once the initial wireframes were approved, I translated them into medium-fidelity mockups using Figma. These mockups focused on layout, navigation, and user interaction points.
DESIGN ADAPTATION
As the business model was still evolving, I frequently had to adjust the design. For instance:
- We decided that customers would need to fill out a form to apply for a certificate.
- Customers would also have to upload proof of eligibility (such as vaccination records), as a vet’s approval was required for the certificate.
- The collection process was later clarified, and I adjusted the user flow to accommodate online payments and notifications for certificate pickup.
USER FLOW
AUTOMATION & WORKFLOWS
USING A COMBINATION OF INTEGROMAT AND ZAPIER, I CREATED AN AUTOMATED USERFLOW THAT SENT CONFIRMATION EMAILS TO THE CUSTOMER AS WELL AS IMPORTANT DETAILS TO THE VETERINARIAN TEAM. UPON THEIR APPROVAL, CONFIRMATION OF APPROVAL AND CUSTOM PAYLINK WOULD BE SENT TO THE CUSTOMER.
